Aegean has won the title of “Best Regional Airline in Europe” at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2025, for the 14th consecutive year and 15th overall, in its 26 years of operation.
It confirms, in this way, as it emphasizes, the constant trust and preference of the passenger public to Aegean Airlines, as reflected by the International Airline Rating Organization Skytrax.
At the same time, Aegean won 4th place in the ranking for “Best Regional Airline in the World”, while it is consistently in the top ten of the 100 leading airlines worldwide.
The award was held last week in Paris, at a special event, within the framework of the international exhibition Paris Air Show, where crews and representatives of the company were present to receive this honorary distinction.

The World Airline Awards are independent awards that began in 1999 with the aim of providing a truly global customer satisfaction study. Travelers from all over the world vote in the largest customer satisfaction survey to determine the winners of the awards. Often referred to as the “Oscars of the aviation industry,” they are a global benchmark for airline excellence.
The evaluation process for the World Airline Awards 2025 was based on the assessment of the actual travel experience for the period September 2024 to May 2025 and reflects exclusively the opinion of the passengers themselves, in which 22,3 million entries were counted, 100 different nationalities among 325 airlines recorded.
